Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is there an age requirement to attend a show at Stage Left?
Yes. Children must be 10 years or older due to the content of our productions. Our theater is not designed to allow patrons to exit while the show is in progress without interrupting the show.
Q. Who is eligible for ADA (disabled) seating (Row A)?

This row exists for anyone who needs accommodations to better enjoy the performance: those with hearing or vision impairments, service animals, wheelchairs/walkers, etc., and their companions. In the event the rest of the auditorium is sold out, ADA seats may be purchased by the general public. If you have tickets for a different row but find yourself in need of Row A seating, please contact the box office as soon as possible.

Q. What happens if I can't make it to a performance I have tickets for?

We are happy to exchange season tickets to another performance if a conflict arises. Please contact the box office at least 24 hours prior to the missed performance. You may also give your ticket to someone else to use by contacting the box office to change the name on your will-call, or you can donate your ticket back to the theater.

Q. Can I get a discount on my ticket(s)?
Given that our ticket prices are still lower than average for the region, we do not offer a student discount.There are always opportunities to be a volunteer usher and see the show for free!
Q. Can I give my ticket to someone else?

If you are unable to attend a performance and would like to change the name for pickup, please notify the box office at least 2 hours prior to showtime. If you would like to purchase tickets as a gift, please note the name of the person you are gifting them to at the time of purchase.

Q. When is the box office open?
The box office is staffed in person 45 minutes prior to any performance. We don’t have regular office hours aside from that, but our box office manager checks voicemail and email daily, and is happy to assist you.

Q. I have a play I think Stage Left should do, now what?

On the main menu, under the Contact item,  click Play Suggestion, complete the form and click Submit. We will add the play to the list of palys we are considering for the next season.

Q. I want to rent Stage Left for a workshop, class, private event, what do I need to do?

To rent our space, please contact backstage@spokanestageleft.org or call (509) 838-9727 with your ideal date (our space is subject to availability) and the size of your event. Someone from the theater will respond to your inquiry within 2-3 business days with a quote and more information about renting.

Q. Can I do my own show at Stage Left?
Unfortunately due to our production schedule, we are continuously in production and rehearsals with set construction underway. A full production with sets and rehearsal time on the stage is not possible.
